Indie Evans

About

Indie’s love for dance started when she was 6 years old when she started her dancing journey at Reflexions doing Jazz.  Over time, she has taken lessons in Funk, Disco, Modern Ballet, Hip Hop, Rap, Tap, Retro, Lyrical, Latin Hip Hop and Fitness and Flexibility.  She has also studied Classical Ballet and has participated in multiple Performing Arts Dance workshops.

Indie has won numerous awards at Graduations such as the Meah Lee Heffron Award, Best Private Exam, Best Public Exams, Most Outstanding Medallist, Most Outstanding Staff Exam and numerous Encouragement Awards.  She has participated in Eisteddfods and other Dance Competitions placing in multiple solos, duos, trios, and groups in a variety of styles.

Indie has been involved in local and school musicals as part of the ensemble, the featured dancers and as a choreographer. She played the lead role of Juliet in the Reflexions’ 2023 version of Romeo and Juliet.

Indie has always wanted to be a dance teacher and admired her dance teachers when growing up. She began teaching Modern Ballet in 2021 and thrives in sharing her love for dance with others. She is passionate about seeing her students succeed and enjoy their time dancing!
